Getting Around
Ripon is accessible by car via the A1(M) motorway. The nearest train station is Harrogate, from where you can take a bus or taxi to Ripon. Regular buses also connect Ripon with surrounding towns and cities.
The No.36 Bus Services runs every twenty minutes between Leeds, Harrogate and Ripon.
Parking: The city center has several car parks, but it's a good idea to arrive early, especially on market days (Thursdays), as it can get busy.
Best Time to Visit: Ripon is beautiful all year round, but spring and summer are ideal for exploring its gardens, parks, and outdoor attractions.
